Over 300 professional cyclists gathered at the Redlands Bicycle Classic on April 12-16 to trek through Redlands, Highland, Yucaipa, and San Bernardino. It is the longest continuously running professional stage race in the country.
For more than 36 years, the Redlands Bicycle Classic has helped build resilient communities with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians as a presenting sponsor for the last decade. Together they drive collaboration, health and wellness, safety, economic development, and accessibility.
Participating cyclists have competed in elite cycling events, including Tour de France and the summer Olympic Games. Participating teams also spend time interacting with students in the Redlands School District, especially with those who may not have access to professional sporting events or professional athletic mentors. This year, over 140 booths showcased local businesses and nonprofit organizations supporting the local economy.
