The Tribe recently awarded $70,000 to support The Hill Community Center S.T.E.A.M. Lab at Sandals Church. The funding helped The Hill buy technology equipment needed to complete the final phase of the lab set-up. Students from San Bernardino Ward Districts 4, 5 and 7 will have the opportunity to access computers, Wi-Fi and tutoring at no cost. In addition, the space provides a fun and safe environment, offering in-person and virtual training and development courses, as well as S.T.E.M.-related related workshops to help students grow in the areas of innovation, problem-solving and critical thinking.
