On January 26, 2025, the Highland YMCA celebrated its 42nd annual Highland Y Run, welcoming runners and race enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. San Manuel Band of Mission Indians served as a sponsor of the event, which featured a run, plus 5K and 10K races. Proceeds from the Highland Y Run benefits the YMCA Financial Assistance program, which offers scholarships to area youth and families unable to afford YMCA programs. The nonprofit—like the Tribe—is dedicated to seeing communities prosper with the help of programs that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
