This August, the Santa Fe Indian Market Gala, Indigenous Fashion Show and Live Art Auction event in Santa Fe, New Mexico featured innovative talent from Indigenous artists and designers from around the United States. The four-day event kicked off with a ‘Best of Show’ ceremony celebrating award-winning artists and artwork of 2023.
The highly anticipated Santa Fe Indian Market is the largest Native art show in the world and featured over 1,000 artists from over 200 tribes and showcased Native American artwork, such as paintings, sculptures, jewelry, pottery and textiles. Indigenous performers also took the stage throughout the day.
The Santa Fe Indian Market Gala included a fashion show of exciting traditional and contemporary styles from Native designers and a live auction with Native artwork and collectibles. The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians was a proud sponsor of this unforgettable celebration of Native American art, fashion and culture, and continues striving to preserve cultural tradition and empower Indian Country.
