On May 18, the San Bernardino Mountain Land Trust (SBMLT) hosted the grand opening of the Will Abell Trail enhancement project at Arrowhead Ridge. The popular 5.2-mile trail falls within Serrano ancestral lands, annually attracting thousands of hikers from Southern California and beyond. Support from SMBMI and SBMLT members, volunteers and donors helped several trail enhancements come to fruition. New maps and educational kiosks highlight Indigenous stewardship, endangered species, and history of Arrowhead Ridge protection.
